Job Description

As a world leader in the manufacture of capital processing solutions to the beverage industry, the client supplies to the leading beverage producers in the marketplace. As part of the business' strategy for continual investment and development, it has created a new role for a highly skilled and talented individual. As an organisation that differentiates itself to its competitors through continuous innovation, technical expertise and first rate customer service, this role will become an integral part of the businesses sales process.

Your remit will be to specifically operate between the direct sales team and internal design and development team. Working with the sales team you will have direct sales contact with the customers where you will be responsible for working with the customer to understand their requirements from a commercial and technical perspective. Operating closely with the design team you will interpret the customer’s requirements/specification into a fully drafted design, undertaking and development of a full tender proposal incorporating a full service proposition. Once the project has commenced you will have both on and off site project management responsibilities ensuring costs and timescales are adhered to.

As this position combines both commercial and technical skills, the successful individual must have a strong electrical or mechanical engineering background experienced within industrial automated machinery ideally beverage or food packaging industries. It is also important that that you can demonstrate significant customer interface combined with an element of project management.

You could currently be operating as a project engineer/manager, technical manager, sales engineer, or process specialist within a beverage processing business looking for your next career move.

Please be aware that this is an office based role in the North West - remuneration is an industry leading package, which will include an excellent basic salary (depending on experience), company bonus, car, pension and healthcare provision.
