Job Description

Are you a strong Shift/Production Manager who wants to take your career to the next stage?

As a new position in the business, the client is now looking for a Production Support Manager. Reporting into the Production Manager as part of the management team, you will have a responsibility for ensuring the production targets are hit. The main function for this role is the planning and design of human resource within the productions environment. Ensuring the right skills, the right people and in the right places at the right time.

The ideal candidate must be customer focused with a solid background in manufacturing. Previous production management experience is essential, ideally in the pharmaceutical or food industry. You must possess the ability to lead change and deliver results in a busy work environment with changing priorities. The ideal candidate will stand-out through their ability to adhere to robust processes while delivering results, at a fast pace.

You will be of graduate calibre and have excellent communications skills. You will also have experience in continuous improvement supported by formal CI qualifications / training and be able to demonstrate success working cross-functionally. You will have advanced skills in excel and very good systems development / IT exposure (as you will also use Access and Planning Systems software).
