Job Description
Are you currently a high achieving Packaging Technologist or Packaging Design manager?
Are you looking for career progression to a business that is a blue-chip leader within the FMCG markets?
As one of the leaders within their respective market segments, the client requires the services of a high achieving and innovative Packaging Design Manager. As part of the senior management team, reporting into the Operations Manager, you’ll have responsibility over a team of packaging technologist and packaging coordinators.
Your main function is to turn innovative design into a commercial reality, working across with the marketing, new product development teams and the manufacturing department to bring innovative, yet commercial viable packaging to their product range.
Ideally, you will have a proven track record in managing packaging design teams, within a similar fast moving environment and have a strong understanding of packaging/product design. It will be important that you have a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines and budgets.
Of graduate calibre or equivalent, in Product Design / Design Engineering / Packaging Technology, you should ideally have extensive experience in a management role. Excellent communication, team working and problem-solving skills are a pre-requisite, as is commercial awareness. You should also possess a sound knowledge of CAD, and an understanding of manufacturing processes.
