This is one of our finest print management clients and it will be working in one of their central london client offices (I have been there - what a buzz).

To follow is the spec-

JOB PURPOSE
• Customer-facing role helping to manage the creation and production of Literature, with specific responsibility for the following Supplies Inserts
• Converting client briefs into detailed instructions required by the graphic team to produce high quality work and to enable the production of the highest quality printed materials.
• Co-ordinate the production of creative design and artwork in the Studio and with external suppliers as required, including planning timelines, estimating costs and administering the invoice process.
• Deliver great service to the external and internal client by co-ordinating the activities of the team and its suppliers to produce work in full, on time and within agreed budgets.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Knowledge and a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role of managing the production of literature, packaging, point-of-sale or commercial print for an agency or supplier to a blue-chip/major client is a necessity.
• Strong project management skills managing national or international projects.
• Thorough knowledge of print processes is required.
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office (MS Word, MS Excel), Email (preferably Lotus Notes), MS Project (an advantage) and Job Management software.
• Business numerate, as the production of quotations and invoices will be necessary.
• German, French and/or Spanish an advantage but not essential.


PERSONAL PROFILE
• This post is suited to a professional person with strong communication and interpersonal skills, (face to face, on the phone and via email).
• Able to concentrate and pay close attention to detail, as graphic production quality is dependant on the accuracy of the original instruction, but able to appreciate the bigger picture and understand the importance of their role in delivering global projects.
• A strong team-working mentality is important, as the candidate will play the anchor role between the client and the production teams, and will be part of the wider team.
• The candidate should be tenacious and be enthusiastic to see the job through to completion without reference to line managers for decisions.
• And being a lateral thinker and problem solver will find and offer solutions rather than focus on obstacles.
