Job Description

Leading Cosmetics, health and Beauty Company are experiencing tremendous growth with their products and services and are now looking to add a Packaging Technologist to their NPD team to work with their latest products and ideas. You will take overall responsibility for the technical development of new and existing packaging in line with the strategic goals of the department. You will develop fit for purpose, premium packaging within the critical path timelines and budgets for all agreed projects. You will develop new packaging and re-develop existing packaging. You must have worked in a similar role and show a detailed understanding of material suitability and capabilities, production methods, packaging testing protocols, print techniques and decoration capabilities. It is also important that you understand product development briefs, ideally have some knowledge of the healthcare or beauty industry and show good time management and prioritisation skills.
