Knowledge and Experience
Essential – Institute of Packaging Diploma or min 5yr experience. Knowledge of packaging print processes. Proven track record in Packaging Project Management.
Preferred – Degree or Equivalent in Packaging Design / Scientific / Technical / Engineering subject or MSc in Packaging Technology. Knowledge of New product Development Processes.
Job Title Packaging Technologist
Reporting to NPD Area Leader
The role will be to project manage Branded and QSI Product and Pack introductions involving all aspects of component development, liquid coordination and trial management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the final product is developed within the defined NPD Process and delivered “fit for purpose”, on time and within budget.
We are seeking a highly organised individual who possesses well-developed interpersonal, influencing, leadership and communication skills in order to manage suppliers, liaise internally with key Supply and Demand team members and Brand managers.
The successful applicant will have a working knowledge of glass manufacturing and packaging print processes. Membership of the Institute of Packaging and Diploma qualification, although not essential, would be a distinct advantage.
Two years + experience in a similar or equivalent role is essential along with a proven track record in Packaging Project Management.
