Position: European Sales & Marketing Manager

Location: Holland

The Company:
This is an outstanding opportunity to work for a world renowned brand name company whose influence stretches across the Globe. With Offices in over 25 countries across the globe; this business are market leaders in proving anything from singular units through to fully automated packaging solutions for leading names within the food, pharmaceutical, confectionary and cosmetics markets.
This position has been created to head up a new team focused purely around the launch a Key Business Unit for the company. This new business unit encompasses a new bespoke range of packaging machinery, which is at the forefront of technical development and to be targeted to clients across Europe.

The Role:
•This role is focused on the delivery of Sales targets within designated regions/territories throughout Europe. This role will involve a combination of New Business and Key Account Management.
•The products include a wide range of horizontal wrappers, feeding and distribution devises.
•This person will need to implement, train and maintain sales processes with the external sales network to maximise sales at the lowest cost for this specialist equipment market.
•This person will need to develop and implement strategy to achieve annual sales plans, expense budgets and forecasted sales for the designated territory.
•A key factor of the role will be to create and implement sales and marketing activities to gain the growth targets for current but also emerging markets.
•This role will also be expected to recommend new product programs, product line improvements, competitive pricing situations and promotional plans required to stimulate new business within territory.

Requirements:
•A position of this level demands a stringent criterion of experience and expert knowledge within the market and of business to business marketing and sales strategy.
•Candidates are required to demonstrate:
•At least 5 years experience within the packaging industry.
•Strong Leadership & Teambuilding experience
•Proven ability to select, train and supervise sales personnel
•Proven track record of developing and maintaining relationships with customers, prospects and suppliers in allied fields.
•Fluent in English and French, willingness to learn Dutch
•Enthusiastic, motivated and adaptable with the potential to move across business streams and develop strategy for other key areas of the business
