Job profile for Head of Design – based in Hong Kong

- Create packaging for toiletry gift sets, skincare products and cosmetic products from concept to finished collection.
- Candidates must have expertise within fashion trends and packaging for these market areas
- Familiar with the market trend of key clients in U.K., U.S.A. & Australia.
Clients include Boots, John Lewis, Debenhams, Sainsbury, Waitrose, Liberty of London

Salary details:-
- Dependent on the candidate's qualification and working experience but envisaged to be GBP 60,000 - 70,000 ex-pat package
Relocation package:-
- Return air-ticket per annum to UK/Europe, Private medical plan, relocation assistance, assitance with housing (serviced apartment)

Qualifications/Experience required :
- Degree in Graphic & Product Design or similar
- 10 years relevant experience in gift/toiletries packaging field and min 3 years at managerial experience
- Familiar with the trend of fashion and cosmetics
- Passion in design, self-motivated, well-organized, mature, responsible and a good team leader
- Good knowledge in artwork and printing production
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop essential

The design team is based in Hong Kong & a team of 18 (6 supervisors & 12 creative/trend designers). The Head of Design will ideally will have experience gained working for a major retailer or supplier to the major retailers & have excellent people management skills, passion for design, confident & outgoing personality.
