The Role:
This is a globally based position that leads the process and provides direction as the market expert in developing a comprehensive business strategy that includes an intimate understanding of new and existing customers, products, services and technologies in the market segment. Directs and facilitates all sub-segment related opportunities and reports directly to the Vice President, Business Development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Develop and manage the business strategy for diagnostics; responsible for maintaining business plans.
•Communicate clearly the diagnostics strategy to the sales and development teams.
•Develop strong relationships with executive level decision-makers at key customers and leverage those relationships to achieve Healthcare Business Unit objectives.
•Direct program configurations to ensure customer needs are met and adequate resources are available for successful program launch.
•Participate in the development of the Healthcare Business Unit base presentation and development activities for branding and promotional strategy
•Work with PMO to establish quoting standards and templates specific to diagnostics.
•Penetrate the supply base (design, automation, and tooling) with a defined strategy map to support the Healthcare Business Unit strategic goals.
•Develop industry analysis to define and monitor market trends, adjacencies and competitors.
•Continuity for global accounts across PMO’s
•Works with the Healthcare Business Unit team to improve all customer satisfaction measurements including internal customer metrics and scores.
Requirements:
•BS degree in Engineering or Sciences and MBA preferred.
•10+ years successful track record in the healthcare industry.
•Demonstrated deep operational knowledge, strategic ability and experience in a business segment.
•Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills.
•Consistent track record of developing customer relationships and networks.
•Previous “successful” global healthcare program development experience required. PMP certification preferred.
•Requires approximately 40-50% international travel
