SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

MIDLANDS

£35K


The successful applicant to have direct consultation at a senior level with a number of European markets including France, Italy, Germany & Greece to develop collaborative solutions for POS to successfully deliver NPD and brand/category strategies at a local level.

The applicant will need to demonstrate:

• People skills (flexible & adaptable)
• Business development
• Permanent & promotional POS materials background
• POS market knowledge Organisation & communication skills
• Graphic design (advantageous)

You will need drive to develop this role with passion as if it were your own business (including European travel)

• Work with designated permanent or promotional client accounts / major retailers
• Commercial accountability for key client accounts – delivering and exceeding targets set, enhancing margin (maximising selling price, minimising costs), improving cash flow through effective management of invoicing (signing off costs with FD/SMS Executive, timely supply of PO’s)
• Brief Client Services Executive on the basics of the project in order to set up the contract
• Manage the design phase of the project – take client’s initial requirements then formulate detailed internal creative brief in order to deliver the desired creative solution to the client
• Formulate detailed procurement/estimating brief in order to supply the client with competitive and accurate quotations
• Following sign off of the design phase, ensure that all relevant information is briefed to the Client Services Executive to allow them to manage the project effectively through the remainder of the process
• Throughout development and production phases, ensure that all feedback and amendments from the client are briefed into the Client Services Executive
• Present all designs, prototypes or first off production units to clients / retailers as required
• Build ‘strategic partnership’ relationships with key clients by delivering added value services (onsite time, tailored processes) and effective use of the group proposition
