Job Description

Position:
INTERIM ARTWORK PROJECT MANAGER – FMCG PACKAGING (5 MONTH CONTRACT)

Location:
SOUTH EAST

Salary:
£30K

The Company:
This is a blue chip FMCG company who specialise in healthcare

The Role:
•Manage the implementation of packaging changes
•Identify potential issues for all new packaging developments, changes to artwork and new product launches
•Ensure branding needs are met across Europe
•Ensure that packaging materials are accurate and specified
•Check and approve any amendments to existing or new packaging.
•Liaise internal and externally with all parties to ensure changes occur within Regulatory and Legal constraints and timelines.
•Ensure technical packaging requirements are fulfilled
•Identify suitable suppliers and ensure quality and price meet service level agreements
•Maintain standard costs and budgets
•Manage Packaging & Artwork Projects
•Provide technical advise from design stage through to actual production on packaging
•Manage packaging change meetings
•Create artwork brief’s and work closely with the Artwork Design Agency
•Check artwork as per the guidelines and authorise final proofs
•Maintain knowledge of all bar coding requirements
•Manage and support the Artwork Technologist with any technical requirements.
•Prepare and submit accurate costings for new and changed products to be produced or packed at third party.

Requirements
•HND Level in relevant subject.
•Ideal Qualification - Institute of Packaging.
•Previous experience in similar position in a FMCG industry
•Purchasing related and Logistics knowledge also required.
