Job Description

We have an exciting new role based onsite within a large group as a Senior Marketing Account Manager within their central London offices.

To be successful, you must have a thorough marketing background. If you are from a print background with limited marketing exposure then this is not suitable for you.

You will provide a hands-on account management service to the client, providing excellent customer service and acting as the conduit for routing Marketing business from the client to the company and partner businesses, in consultation with the accounts Group Production Director.

You will obtain detailed briefs for all Marketing work, provide quotes and obtain approval and p.o's for all work, in consultation with the Account's Group Production Director. This involves managing all print jobs throughout the process, ensuring all KPI's are met in terms of quality and timing.

You will provide a broad-based marketing consultancy to the client, supporting the marketing team, and adding value by driving marketing effectiveness and reducing marketing spend. You will develop a good understanding of the clients marketing strategy, the marketing team's ways of working and capabilities.
You will review the effectiveness of all elements of the clients marketing strategy and refine / replace these elements to develop a more effective strategy where appropriate.

You will review how new technologies can be leveraged at the client (Email Marketing, Subscription DM, Proximity Marketing, Digital Signage, 2D bar codes), and how existing / new customer data can be more effectively exploited.

Our client would like you to develop a deep understanding of the clients business and all its customer-facing and activities and backshop processes to provide the best service to the client whilst exploring all available commercial opportunities for the company.
You will develop a good understanding of all elements of the business (products, processes, systems, people) - magazine, books, on-line, information provision and fulfilment.

You must have an analytical mind, the drive to impress and be able to work a campaign within a pressurised environment. Great career prospects within a large organisation.
