Based in South East

The successful candidate will be analytical with a high level of attention to detail, be proactive and have the ability to work as part of a team. Experience of working to manage projects from start to finish within tight timescales in a fast moving environment is also desirable. You will have excellent communication skills as you will need to liaise with suppliers across Europe as well as a range of internal departments. You will demonstrate an interest in the practical application of technology and have the ability to approach work in a systematic, logical and organized way. Your personal attributes will include sound judgment, initiative good numerical skills and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:
• Packaging bag and case trial work
• Case / bundle sizing and specifying to suppliers
• Optimisation of bag, case and pallet formats using the TOPS packaging software
• Production of packaging standards in the SAP R3 database
• Design of promotional bag and case formats
• Proof-reading bag and case artwork
• Working together with the Packaging Team to improve packaging systems and processes
• Communicating pro-actively with contacts in Marketing, Planning, Mill Operations, Purchasing and with packaging suppliers
Project management – creating packaging project timelines and managing to these. Working within multifunctional project teams
