Job Description

A small but capable Design Agency which is a subsidiary of a larger successful Printing company seeks a dynamic Managing Director with a creative background and a proven track record of negotiating with clients, delivering superlative customer service and getting the best from a team.

This role will involve business development, management of the sales team and some key account management. Applicants should have an ability to strategically promote the company’s offer of Design and Print on a wide range of products from Business Stationery to POS and Large Format in to the market place. In addition there will be responsibility for the motivation and monitoring of a small territory based sales team and a sales/account handling office based team.

Day to day responsibilities include leading and developing all incoming sales to the business, preparing quotations for design and print leads brought in by the sales team or through web based quoting sites, liaising with the in-house Design team and Production Manager to ensure jobs are handled correctly and to the customer’s satisfaction.

The person should be driven and enthusiastic with a proven background within the Print industry. Experience of developing sales and dealing with customers at all levels is also essential. The appointment could lead to an equity stake in the business based on achieving defined growth goals.

The successful applicant will need to be able to demonstrate through their track record a 'can do' mentality and a 'whatever it takes' approach.
