Job Description

Exciting opportunity for a professional and driven Sales Manager, to work for PDI, who are a specialist printing service provider to the Training Industry.

PDI is highly successful and growing fast and requires a New Business Sales Manager to assist in developing and implementing the Company’s sales strategy, targets and to manage the sales direction of the company.

We are looking for a Sales Manager who clearly understands the sales process is analytical to understand client’s real requirements and provide a well-designed solution for the customers. This is a service solutions business dealing with large blue chip clients.

The ideal candidate as New Business Sales Manager will possess the following skills, experience and attributes

- Demonstrable and successful high level sales track record
- Man management and recruiting experience
- Experience in Print Management and or training or related areas
- Experience in service sales and solution sales would be a distinct advantage
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Good presentation skills
- Able to work to targets and forecast sales
- Experience in selling to senior decision makers and at board level essential
- Experience and knowledge of business solutions, service methods, and contract negotiation.
- Full UK Driving licence

PDI is a prestigious printing solutions company specialising in training documentation working with large corporates, technology companies and niche training companies. The majority of new sales business is within the UK market however, there could be an element of global contact as our service includes a worldwide offering.

The position will be based in Basingstoke, but you will be visiting potential customers throughout the UK. To apply you will ideally have both a telephone sales background required for the new business development, as well as Field Sales experience. Ideally you will have worked in either a printing solutions/document management company or in a training environment, and either have Sales Management experience or be looking for your first step into Sales Management
