Sales Executive - Plastics

Our Client is a leading themoformed food packaging producer, manufacturing PET and RPET trays and punnets to food retailers/packers and growers throughout the UK.

Looking to recruit a Sales Executive to generate new business within the client’s product range and maintain a small amount of existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of relevant markets within the thermoformed packaging/food industry and will have the ability to sell on a technical level as well as a commodity product.

The role will be home based to develop business in the South of England.

Duties include

•Be actively involved in new business generation via cold calling and researching
•Liaising with internal members of staff
•To be the first point of contact for the company and customers
•Identify and qualify new opportunities within existing customer base
•Develop leads into new business opportunities and customers
•To support customer base with product selection and product training where necessary
•Compiling reports on an accurate basis as required by management
