Job Description

Reprographics Studio

Checking supplied customer files from various file types and making sure they are print ready
Creating high res PDFs from customer files
PDF/Epson proofing
Imposing pages in quark for print
Making litho plates for press using CTP
Dealing with customers via email and telephone
Some design/typesetting

Candidate Requirements

Basic knowledge of the Adobe Suite and Quark XPress (MAC based)
Reprographics / print room experience essential
Basic knowledge of Word and mailmerging (not essential as training will be given)
Professional manner and the ability to communicate at all levels
The ability of multi-tasking and working to tight deadlines
Ability to self-manage and prioritise work
Good timekeeping
Flexible and willing to work beyond normal hours if necessary
Able to work both as part of a team and individually.
