Job Description

• Narrow Web Flexographic Printer.

o Able to prepare printing press for running, including full job set up, adjustments of printing plates, ink pressures, feed and tension controls
o Good understanding of UV ink systems and mixing
o Good understanding of mounting flexo plates using a video plate mounting system
o Able to carry out pre-press work – this includes mix inks to job spec, wash-ups, job bag delivery, anilox clean-up
o Successful candidate will be expected to cover other roles – packing line, reworking sub-standard labels following rewind process, involvement in label testing & inspection
o Minimum qualification or equivalent Level 3 NVQ in Machine Printing - Flexography (C&G 5158-31)
o Ideal candidate will have Process Improvement experience & knowledge using Lean tools e.g. 5S workplace organisation.

• £20k/annum plus 25% shift allowance (permanent position).
