Job Description

Our International client involved in Print, Packaging and Display is now looking to recruit a Head of Print.

The head of print is responsible for managing the print services team and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of every stage of the product delivery supply chain. The primary focus of this role will be to ensure that the team supports the Account Team in gaining and managing print sales revenue, ensuring that the company is best in class as a print supplier.

Principle Accountabilities & Responsibilities

• Ensure the maintenance of a safe working environment at all times
• Responsible for all line management of the print team.
• Delivery and maintenance of a cross trained team to ensure continuous seamless support for all customers.
• Ensure quotes are completed and processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Build and maintain relationships with relevant department to ensure consistent delivery and understanding
• Create and deliver SLA’s for the teams activities
• Development of team and Individual skills
• Lead and drive process and workflow improvements
• Provide regular performance reports to the Account Director and the business as required.
• Drive continuous improvement of quality standards, process and on time delivery
• Driving performance excellence to deliver on business targets around delivery, quality and costs.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure activities are aligned and effective.

Proven Ability

• Excellent attention to detail and project management ability
• Operational knowledge of print processes
• A focus on continuous improvement
• Knowledge of order processing cycle and activities
• Experienced at managing a team
• Full operational knowledge of relevant in house systems.
• Demonstrable experience managing resources within budget
• A customer services perspective where other internal departments are seen as customers and treated accordingly.
