Leading UK supplier of large format printing services, exhibition stands, portable display products and giant media seek to appoint a truly dynamic Conference & Events Manager as part of the strategic evolution of their Service Conferences Division.
This is a key position within their emerging Conferences & Events Division, as this major Plc seeks a highly-motivated conference and events co-ordinator / manager that possess essential PC skills and a good understanding of the Apple Mac system. You should have clearly demonstrable experience and knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ideally be able to operate Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop. Any skills in 3D packages would be an advantage, but not essential.
The Conference & Events Manager must have a broad understanding of graphic design and a good knowledge of the conference and events industry. The ability to draw floor plans and conduct accurate site surveys prior to the events would be an advantage. The Conference & Events Manager will manage and run each project / event from proposal to delivery while building strong relationships with our clients and be willing to work on and off site. This is a very demanding position which may occasionally require working unsocial hours both in the UK and abroad.

The Conference & Events Manager must have a full driving licence and be willing to travel to any venue within the UK and Europe in the delivery of world class Client Exhibition & Events solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and inspirational individual to join this major Plc, working within their Conference & Events team and taking responsibility for a range of Client accounts, varying from small retail SME’s to major high street brands & events. You will be managing an array of existing client relationships and will work closely with the Sales division in the engagement & delivery of exciting business opportunities.
Utilisation of your driven and engaging personality is key to connecting with clients and colleagues alike and through your excellent communication skills you will interpret the demands of clients effectively, managing processes through to completion with the co-operation and support of excellent commercial and production teams.
