Job Description

We are looking for a Production Planner to join our dynamic team.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

1. Planning work on printing presses and rewinding machines
2. Monitoring adherence to plan implementing immediate corrective measures as necessary
3. Ensuring materials are available when required
4. Managing supplier relationships to ensure optimum price and service levels
5. Purchasing of raw materials
6. Ensure effective communication with production managers and supervisors
7. Liaise with the customer services and sales teams to give timely lead time and expected delivery date information to customers
8. Meeting targets with regard to on time in full delivery and lead times for key customers
9. Amending plans as required to respond to customer demand
10. Carrying out monthly stock takes
11. Allocating material to jobs and managing effective stock control
12. Carrying out daily production meetings

Experience is preferred but not essential.
