Job title

Pre Press Systems Operator.

Main purpose of job

The pre-press systems operator will be responsible for all aspects of the packaging origination process,
from creating artworks through to supplying fully reproed quality assured files.
In addition, this role will involve customer liaison, face to face or by telephone. Day to day usage of the
company MIS system.

Relationships

a) Responsible to The Studio Manager
b) Liaison with Managers, Project Managers, Clients.

Main tasks of job

• Artwork generation in Adobe Illustrator.
Essential Knowledge
• Of all graphics software packages Illustrator, Photoshop, Artpro & or Packedge.
• Understanding of Microsoft software Excel & Word.
• Understanding of flexographic printing process.
Essential Skills & Competencies
• Excellent administration, IT & planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Conscientious & self motivated.
• Excellent attention to detail.
