The Company
My client is one of Europe's oldest independent carton manufacturers producing work for a variety of markets to include food, healthcare and household goods.
With the ability to print up to 7 colours with a variety of coatings they are able to supply major blue chip companies as well as smaller independents.

The Role
My client is looking for a business development manager with strong new business skills to develop in to a sales manager, ideally sooner rather than later. You will be responsible for a small team and report in to the Sales Director. You will be a hands on manager and still have person as well as team targets to achieve. You must have the right attitude, be committed and have the energy and enthusiasm to help dive the team and business forward it a competitive market.

Requirements
* Identifying and developing new opportunities & taking the opportunity from initial contact to negotiating and closing the sale
* Ensuring that contact is made at a senior level with key decision makers
* Build a sales pipeline of new business opportunities that will ensure that the sales target will be exceeded for the year
* Have a recent proven track record in selling folding cartons.
* You should be innovative, committed to outstanding customer service and have strong commercial and analytical skills.
