Job Description
Our client is a corrugated packaging manufacturer and a packaging solutions provider with a well established customer base and an excellent reputation within the packaging industry.
They are now looking to recruit a packaging designer to strengthen their design department at their Midlands site and to bring creative packaging solutions to their clients.
Reporting directly to the Design Manager the successful candidate will be taking accurate client briefs, designing SRP & conventional corrugated packaging solutions, creating samples for customers, ordering the necessary tools and stereos, liaising with Production, Sales & the Customer Services teams.
Previous experience of designing and producing samples from a CAD CAM system within the corrugated packaging industry is essential. It is essential that the candidate is creative and has a good eye for detail, with a positive and focused approach to their work.
You have excellent communication skills and are looking to join a successful well established and secure organisation who like to retain & develop their staff, promoting from within.
Basic Salary £25k - £28k depending on experience with 25 days holiday
