PROVEN PACKAGING GRAPHICS/ ARTWORK EXPERIENCE - HERTFORDSHIRE BASED ON-SITE ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE
Salary Up to £35,000

Overview

• MUST have on-site account management experience with a blue chip client & be happy client facing
• MUST have packaging design/ packaging graphics project management experience
• MUST have experience in handling artwork from interpreting the initial client brief through to the design team
• Proven ability to work well in a high pressured environment
• MUST have senior experience encompassing leading / supervising other team members

Responsibilities

• Reporting to and working closely with Directors
• Working alongside the overseas Account Manager to manage delivery and meet client expectations
• Pro-actively managing client relationships and expectations within assigned business categories from project concept through to launch
• Activity planning and communicating critical paths with and on behalf of each category
• Financial management of projects, ensuring time and costs are effectively monitored and billed correctly.
• Chairing regular meetings with category and design managers
• Identifying cost saving opportunities and process improvements
• Engaging stakeholders to provide swift resolutions to issues or concerns throughout the project lifecycle
• Detailed recording of project detail to enable KPI reporting and transparency to the business
• Leading Project Managers encompassing recruitment, training & development

Candidate requirements
• Experience in the packaging industry is essential, ideally working with overseas operations in Asia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, presentable and confident manner in front of client with the ability to organise and chair key stakeholder meetings
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with clients and department management teams
• Some supervisory / leadership experience ideally leading client services or project management teams
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong team work ethic with ability to identify and resolve potential issues by working on their own initiative
• Flexibility during peak periods of work
