The Company
• My client is one of the UK’s leading Flexible Packaging Manufacturers specifically to the food sector. They boast an extensive blue chip client base including supermarket chains & major players within the food manufacturing sector. My clients flexible packaging range specifically focuses on high quality laminate & barrier structures therefore candidates must have experience within the above products.

The Role
• This is an excellent opportunity to develop your sales career in a successful, dynamic company.
• Attend any meetings required by customers
• Specify products to meet application requirements
• Develop new products
• Produce product and technical specifications along with all supporting documentation
• Produce compliance documentation supported by migration testing
• Deal effectively with any customer’s technical issues or complaints
• Provide back up and support to the Technical Service Representative

Requirements
• Good technical knowledge of flexible packaging materials, lamination structures, barrier properties and specifications for food packaging.
• Knowledge of the following would be a distinct advantage inks, lamination adhesives, reprographics and originations, food packaging machinery, food technology, added value packaging applications. Existing contacts within the food packaging and food industry would also be helpful.
• In addition you will need to have excellent communication skills. You will be determined, resourceful and passionate about innovation and finding technical solutions.
