Retail Packaging Project Manager able to take packaging projects from design concept through to production. Must have a very strong personality, excellent design awareness & of environmental implications
Must be very well organised, able to juggle many projects of varying complexity, able to understand brand guidelines & work within them, present & enthuse buyers & marketing teams to work with designs chosen. Manage & track project timelines.
Candidates must have food retail experience, be enthusiastic, team players, able to multi task and re-prioritise jobs on daily basis.

Responsibilities
-actively manage category packaging design projects from brief through to instore
-manage relationships with relevant people in categories eg npd manager, technical manager, customer manager
-liaise with people at all levels to commercial director
-manage category design budget
-manage external relationships with design agencies, photographers, artwork and repro companies
-prioritise and manage timelines and critical paths across multiple projects
- manage external manufacturers eg printers
- be aware of trend and innovation in all areas of packaging and proactively contribute to team awareness
- be aware of packaging structure and encourage innovation
- be aware of competitor changes and developments
- be able to persuade and influence at all levels
- influence categories and suppliers to work with a defined process
- deliver solutions within launch timescales
