Job Description

To provide administrative support to the Packaging Development Manager within this global drinks company. You will be involved in the packaging process ensuring accuracy of artwork and assisting the overall packaging development.


Key Accountabilities

• Maintain and support the packaging design, development and implementation process.
• Managing the production of set individual projects for packaging for new or existing products
• Ensuring quality and brand awareness throughout packaging
• Maintaining the progression of multiple projects
• Maintaining an up to date filing system of all digital artwork
• Liaising internally to ensure accurate artwork is applied to packaging, ensuring brand assurance
• ??Briefing photographic requirements necessary for packaging and monitoring shots to ensure up to date library
• Build partnerships with suppliers to generate the most effective packaging
• To raise and manage requisitions on SAP.
• Maintain records of quotes and Purchase Orders for analysis of expenditure
• Maintain master data for bills of material, ensuring correct material components are used in production
• Maintain SAP material and packaged goods master data
• To raise all barcodes and ensure that application to artwork is correct
• To assist in preparation of materials for presentations




• To develop understanding of overall packaging process.
• To develop a good understanding of packaging print processes.
• To develop a detailed understanding of all marketing objectives and activity undertaken to achieve them.

Skills/experience required

Windows, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent telephone manner
Good general administration skills
Previous experience of SAP
Understanding of artwork formats
Previous experience working in a customer service environment
Experience in print / repro
