Job Description

Background

Our client is a large designer and producer of Point of Purchase and Retail environments. Manufacturing is out-sourced as the company work as a design and project management facility. With factories both in the UK and Europe, our client has an impressive portfolio of blue chip clients.

The Position

The company is now looking to recruit a Project Manager, to manage around £1 million of Retail, Shop-in-Shop and POP projects per year. Your key responsibilities will involve being the sole project contact for all suppliers and internal resources, as well as costing and estimating projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring that projects achieve or exceed the targets agreed for cost, margin, delivery and quality. The role will involve occasional 'out of hours' onsite work and some international travel.

What is Expected

The ideal candidate will have several years experience in a Project Manager position or similar within the retail interiors or point of sale industry. You should be able to demonstrate a proven record of development and management on successful projects. In addition, you will need excellent communication skills and be professional, presentable, honest and punctual.
