How to get the most from using Job Seeker Watchdog (Platinum Membership Required)

Do you want to be told about the latest talent first? Job Seeker Watchdog allows you to be ahead of your competition as we notify you when someone registers with the skills you are looking for.

No need to search through our growing database every day, simply tell the system the skills or job title you are looking for and it will inform you every day of all the matched people who have registered in the past 24 hours.

There are 2 different types of watchdog you can set up on oZZle:

Keyword Search – This searches through the following fields the Job Seeker has entered in their profile: - Industry skills (tick boxes), key skills (this is the paragraph that you read on their profile called “keyskills”), current job title, desired job title, first name and last name.

Industry Skill Search – This only searches the Industry Skills tickboxes.

Keyword Search

This uses an “and” search. If you entered “Account Manager, Litho”. You would only be told about people who have both Account Manager and Litho somewhere within the search criteria. This will really limit your results. But it may be that you are looking for very specific skills and this is where using commas to separate the words will help.

If you are looking for an Account Manager and you don’t mind what area they are involved in, simply enter “Account Manager” as one of your watchdogs. Industry

Skill Search

You will need a copy of the tickboxes that the Job Seekers enter and use those specific words to be told about new Job Seekers with those specific skills. If you need to find a copy of the tickboxes simply click on the “industry skills search” that is underlined underneath your setup boxes and it shows you all the tickboxes for you to select. Again remember that this uses an “and” search, so if you select more than one tickbox the job seeker will have had to tick all the boxes you have selected.

The short and simple message, is select one keyword or one industry skill per watchdog to maximise your results.
